Truckee to Kentucky
Erin Sliney’s debut album, Truckee to Kentucky, takes listeners on her journey from young and naive Kentucky girl, to a free-spirited traveler, to a woman pondering life, love, and the destruction of our earth.
The twelve original songs are arranged in the order in which they were written and showcase Erin's musical development and stylistic variety. The album features dear friends and family and was recorded, mixed, and mastered at The Stripping Room in Bourbon County, Kentucky.

Erin’s Early Work
Prior to recording Truckee to Kentucky, Erin mostly performed on front porches and around campfires, but she did capture some musical moments from her 20s!
In the spring of 2018 Erin wrote and recorded Ode to Whiskeytown to express her sorrow upon departing from her beloved long-time workplace, the Whiskeytown Environmental School. This song later provided solace to many during the Carr Fire, which caused severe destruction of the school and the surrounding area.
